Jordan Scaling-up Renewables

 
Jordan plans to increase the country’s renewable energy capacity to 2,400MW by 2021, says Hala Zawati, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. This would increase the contribution of renewable from 11% of the total energy requirement to 20%. This is expected as a result of several solar power projects across the country.
