Oceana calls on Mediterranean countries to protect crucial fishing areas


Little progress has been made in safeguarding juveniles since the MedFish4Ever was signed. Oceana asks Mediterranean countries to protect the Essential Fish Habitats to ensure the future of fishing in the sea.

AMWAJ in Action

A Call to All Media Enthusiasts

 

This year, the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) West Asia and North Africa (WANA) Chapter and it’s partner the Bremen Overseas Reasearch & Development Association (BORDA) are partnering with the Blue Peace Media Lab to explore new ways to encourage media enthusiasts to engage in investigative reporting on pressing water and sanitation issues across countries in the region.
 
To launch the program in Iraq, outstanding media enthusiasts and professionals will be selected to take part in a tailored program with the goal of intensifying and improving the quality and scope of media coverage of acute water-related challenges in the country.
