    Your application will be reviewed by the AMWAJ Board and the Ethics and Compliance Committee for approval. We will revert back to you within 2-4 weeks with the result and then start the Onboarding process.

Who can join the community?

Although our focus is on the Mediterranean, we invite applications from all parts of the world provided that you share our common goal and geographical focus. We invite applications from the following groups that share our commitment to create a Mediterranean water, energy and sustainability community:

Who will review my application form?

To ensure the professionalism, security and relevance of the community, once the Member Form is submitted, it will be reviewed by the AMWAJ board.

How long does my membership last?

Once your application is validated, your membership will go into effect on the first day of the following month until the end of the calendar year. The AMWAJ Alliance Membership fee will be calculated accordingly for that year.

Classification of UfM Member States according to Income

This chart indicates the payment category all 42 member states of the Union for the Mediterranean, according to the World Bank country classification method. All other countries can be consulted in the same database. The annual rates depend on the official country of legal registration of the given entity. The same criteria apply to multilateral institutions; corporations are calculated by turnover.

NB: AMWAJ is an initiative of the REVOLVE Group. Your AMWAJ Alliance membership fee is in Euros and processed via REVOLVE Mediterraneo (registered in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, as a non-profit association, company number G67172205). The minimum premium levels above apply to all partners while you may also consider making larger donations to support the core operations of AMWAJ.

How can I contribute and get my work published?

You can contribute by joining the community and sending a piece in the form of story or op-ed that takes place in one or more countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

What is TAYYARAT?

Tayyarat تيّارات  stands for “Currents” or “Streams” in Arabic and it is the plarform where our members share currents of water, energy, and thoughts!

What is TABADUL?

Tabadul تبادل (“exchange” in Arabic) is a space to connect inspiring initiatives and to enhance knowledge exchange on communication best practices.

What are the additional communication services?

REVOLVE communication group offers the following services to AMWAJ Alliance members at 10%

different baseline fees depending on the type of your organization and depending on your location
