Tabadul

Reporting on climate change complexity in the Mediterranean region

Are you a journalist interested in climate change reporting? Then, this webinar is for you! Within the celebration of the First Mediterranean Day, the second Tabadul will focus on the interconnections between water, energy, food and ecosystems -the so-called WEFE nexus, from a communications perspective.

The webinar will spell out with day-to-day examples on how to tackle these complexities in the journalistic reporting when covering climate change. Check the full agenda here.
Don’t miss it and join us on the 29th of November at 11am!

#MediterraneanDay

What does the Mediterranean mean for you?

The AMWAJ Alliance celebrates the first-ever #MediterraneanDay asking the Nest City Lab community what does the Mediterranean means for them.
The Day of the Mediterranean will be celebrated on the 28th of November, acting as a timely reminder that our similarities overcome our differences, the cultural dimension being an important component of who we are and where we come from. It provides an opportunity to celebrate achievements, embrace diversity, to strengthen ties between our two shores and to deepen our understanding of each other. The #MediterraneanDay is an initiative of the Union for the Mediterranean.

AMWAJ Manifesto

Commit to protect and restore water ecosystems in the Mediterranean

The Mediterranean is one of the regions most affected by climate change, with temperatures rising faster than the average and with more than half of its population under water stress. The AMWAJ Manifesto has been created following the international movement led by the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration to demonstrate that the people of our planet stand together in this mission.

Be part of waves of change! We are stronger together.
