The Beirut River Forest

In 2019, the environmental activists Adib Dada and Dana Harakeh led the successful tree-planting community-building exercise in the Sin el-Fil municipality of Beirut. They deployed the famous Miyawaki Method that uses native species of trees, plants and shrubs to bring nature into urban areas while bringing density ans biodiversity back.
