General Assembly of the AMWAJ Alliance
We celebrated our 4th General Assembly of REVOLVE Mediterraneo – AMWAJ Alliance on Wednesday last week in Barcelona!

Industry Disruptors, a non-profit/non-governmental organisation that was founded to promote entrepreneurship in Greece, South East Europe and East Med regions, has joined the AMWAJ Alliance to promote sustainable water management in the Mediterranean. Together, we are committed in contributing to a more healthy and equitable Mediterranean for all.
Unlike Malta that still has some (rapidly depleting) groundwater aquifer reserves, Lampedusa has no freshwater resources. Without any freshwater resources, Lampedusa needs renewables for sustainable water access. But… how? Startups Lab in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is partnering with Google News Initiative (GNI) to implement a Startups Lab to strengthen a culture of independent news media in the Middle East and North Africa.
The European Economic and Social Committee is looking for its new Youth Delegate to UNFCCC COP for a 2-year mandate. Applications are open until 20 January. The EESC is also holding an info session on 11 January 2023.
The Water Science Policy with support from UNESCO, is running a photostory competition on the topic of ‘Water, Partnerships, and Cooperation’. The top 15 stories will also be exhibited at the UN 2023 Water Conference.
