Mediterranean Wetlanders’ stories: the landscape guardians

In the lead up to World Wetlands Day 2022 – celebrated the 2nd of February, the Wetland-based Solutions project released a series of video stories called Mediterranean Wetlanders’ stories. The videos give face and voice to the farmers and young entrepreneurs that work every day to protect wetlands across the Mediterranean.

The series of videos highlight the stories around four wetlands in the region: Ghar El Melh (Tunis), the Gulf of Oristano (Italy), the Ulcinj Salina (Montenegro) and the Buna Delta (Albania). Some of them are included in this article so you can discover the stories of Mondher, Alberto, Zenepa and Samela.
