Green Circular Economy in the Mediterranean: The Impact of Green Jobs

The concept of a green circular economy aims to combine economic growth and shared prosperity with environmental considerations. The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), in collaboration with AMWAJ member Water, Environment and Business for Development (WE&B), published a report on the potential of a green, circular and socially inclusive economy in the Mediterranean. In her article, Mariam Younes summarises the report and highlights the role of green jobs in the Mediterranean's green transition.

The brand new network of 25 think tanks and research centers from 10 countries, the Med Alliance of Think Tanks on Climate Change (MATTCCh) - of which CREAF is a member - is calling on the new European Commissioner for the Mediterranean to take into account the profound impact of climate change on security, trade, society and finance in the region.
