Water Management in Cyprus: an ongoing struggle

Cyprus lies at the crossroads of three continents; Europe, Asia, and Africa, a mix of cultures and civilizations with a common Mediterranean essence. Water resources are scarce on the island, classified as ‘water poor’; a problem which has always caused serious problems to society, the environment, and Cypriot industries.
